The TAWPI Great Lakes Chapter receives inquiries from users looking to get rid of banking, payment processing and remittance equipment ranging from when the envelope arrives until the last pass is completed to vendors needing equipment for new clients. The Chapter's Board of Directors believe the reason end-users turn to the Chapter is ebayŽ and other auction sites are not visible enough within our industry, the equipment is too specialized, or the services are too expensive to use.
In 2007, the Chapter’s first step was simply this email: Exchange@TAWPIChapters.org to make it easier for buyers and sellers of our industry's technology to come together. Exchange@TAWPIChapters.org is monitored by an assigned group of volunteers and has proven successful for the Chapter. For those initial members who helped make 2007 successful, the new fee structure is waived. For everyone else, the Chapter’s Board has approved these changes for 2008:

- $39.00 for transactions valued under $9,999.99
- $79.00 for transactions valued at $10,000+
- Exchange | Jobs
- $29.00 for each position job blast. Lister required to provide Chapter with job value range, as the Chapter always seems to get these calls.
- $29.00 for each referral provided by the Chapter whether they are hired or not.
